STATESMAN REPORTS A FRESH CLAIM OF DAN PATRICK HIRING UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS

Veteran Statesman reporter Mike Ward with the scoop. From the story:

"Robert Louis Young, a retired construction materials superintendent, told the American-Statesman and Houston’s KPRC-TV that he worked as a bartender at Patrick’s Dan and Nic’s Sports Market in 1985 or 1986, and remembers 'between six and eight illegal immigrants working with me' in various kitchen and other jobs, “just after the restaurant opened.”

“Everybody knew, including Dan Patrick**, that these employees could not speak English, (had) no papers and were illegal,” said Young, 66. 'Dan was there.’”
