Sen. Seliger injured in motorcycle accident but injuries are not life threatening
Seliger is expected to be back in the Senate no later than next week
Sen. Kel Seliger,
R-Amarillo, was injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday evening and was taken
to Brackenridge
with injuries to his ankles and elbows.
Fortunately, the injuries were not life threatening. He is in a private room rather than ICU.
We are told that doctors plan to discharge Sen. Seliger
in the next day or two. He’s expected to move fairly slowly for the rest of the
week and be back at full Senate duties no later than next week.
