Texas continues to play defense on redistricting questions
Abbott suggests he will take a pass on a second special session
Plaintiffs in the current redistricting challenge are
drafting a new Congressional map to take to a three-judge panel in September, a
move it now appears will be challenged by the state.
Comments from Gov. Greg
Abbott would indicate the state will bypass a second special session and,
once more, play defense on redistricting challenges.
In an interview with KXAN, Abbott talked about appealing
the decision of the court.
