Commercial real estate magnate Bob Rowling pushes changes; TLTA argues “The system is simply not broken, but I think it will be if this bill passes”
Changes to
the way title insurance is regulated are up in Senate and House
committees Tuesday, where lawmakers will hear bills related to reforms that
have business interests at odds.
The bills
at hand are House Bill 4239 by Vice-Chairman Sergio Munoz, which is being heard in the Insurance Committee, and Senate
Bill 2203 by Chairman Kelly
