Updated: Censure motion against Chair Davis simmers ahead of Tonight's Harris County GOP meeting
Also responds to Abbott's endorsement of her challenger: "Republican voters in HD 134 will not be told for whom to vote, and will not nominate a candidate who will be so easily defeated in the fall because they are a wholly-owned subsidiary of the extremist fringe group, Empower Texans."

Place, plans to be on hand tonight at the Harris County Republican Party Executive
Committee as some activists push a censure resolution that her supporters
have called a “fake smear job” and an example of some in the GOP attempting to “cut
off our nose to spite our face.”
For
now, HCRP Chairman Paul Simpson says
the resolution has been pulled down by its authors.
But
the issue of deeply dividing the party heading into what could be a nasty primary
is still simmering.
