Early voting in Williamson County almost equally split between Dems and the GOP
Williamson County’s early voting results are almost
equally split between Republicans and Democrats, putting the unexpired term for
former Rep. Larry Gonzales in toss-up territory.
About 48 percent of Williamson County’s registered voters
showed up before Election Day, and the balance of Republicans and Democrats in
that pool of 161,490 votes has made Democrat Congressman Beto
O’Rourke’s challenge of incumbent U.S. Senator Ted Cruz rather tight. Early
voting has O’Rourke ahead of Cruz in Williamson County, 51-47.
