Cannabis advocates call on DPS, Public Safety Commission for answers about Compassionate Use Program

“While waiting for the final adoption of language could be a reason to wait before awarding a license, this should not hold up that application process….this should not hold up that application process”

Cannabis advocates called on the Public Safety Commission to offer an explanation for why the Department of Public Safety abruptly suspended applications for the Texas Compassionate Use Program, which recently was expanded by Texas lawmakers.

The program was not posted for discussion at this morning’s meeting.
