Former Speaker Straus launches new PAC, starting with $2.5 million investment

Leaving the door open to a run for higher office in 2022, Straus says he is staying in the game to promote “a thoughtful, conservative approach to governing and rising political leaders ready to ensure a bright future for all Texans”

With an initial investment of $2.5 million, former Texas House Speaker Joe Straus on Wednesday morning told Quorum Report he is launching a new PAC called Texas Forever Forward with a goal of promoting “a thoughtful, conservative approach to governing and rising political leaders ready to ensure a bright future for all Texans.”
