TABC warns of crackdown on bars and restaurants not strictly adhering to reopening guidelines issued by Abbott
“…businesses that jeopardize Texans’ health and welfare will be shut down through license suspension or other regulatory measures.”
Threatening the loss of liquor
licenses, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission on Monday
warned bar and restaurant owners that they better be strictly adhering to Gov.
Greg Abbott’s guidelines for reopening amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Right now
bars can operate at 50 percent capacity and restaurants are capped at 75
percent.
