People on the Move
A big change at a big firm, staffer moves, association news, and more
Another week of the dog
days of summer. The gossip was singularly focused, it seemed, coming out of the
National Conference of State Legislatures in Denver.
Sorry I missed that. Next year.
In Dallas, CPAC was
getting underway yesterday afternoon and the tickets are plentiful. Apparently,
they were having trouble filling seats. $300 tickets, we’re told, were deeply discounted
to less than $100 on Thursday if you use the promotion code “DallasGOP.” Maybe things will pick up over the weekend.
Back here in Austin,
career news tends to come in slowly at this point on the calendar. Some of you
asked if we’re still doing POTM every Friday. Honestly, it just depends on how
much career news there is to share. One thing’s fer sure: The Texas Capitol
community needs to know where political professionals end up. So, send what you
know – about yourself or someone else – to ksbraddock@gmail.com.
Use POTM in the subject line so I can keep track.
Here’s the latest edition
of People on the Move.
