Study: Repeal of in-state tuition for undocumented students could cost Texas $400 million annually
Business groups push back against proposed repeal of Texas Dream Act
As
the national debate over border security and illegal immigration unfolds from
the Rio Grande to Washington, a group called the New American Economy
announced today the launch of Texans for Economic Growth – a coalition
of business leaders and associations supporting federal immigration reform as
well as state-level policies they believe bolster the contributions made by
immigrants.
Their
immediate goal here is to protect the “Texas Dream Act.”
