Updated: Presumptive Speaker Phelan uninjured after rough plane landing in East Texas

The plane was landing in Lufkin, where there were mechanical issues with the brake system. So, the plane did land on the runway but went off it and over a road and settled in a nearby field. We are also now told the pilot may have bumped his head but thankfully did not require serious medical attention
