September 21, 2024 4:04 PM Birdie Kuempel, widow of late Rep. Edmund Kuempel and mother of Rep. John Kuempel, passed away Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7pm at Tres Hewell in Seguin. Graveside service at the state cemetery Friday at 10am with a 3pm memorial service at Faith Lutheran Church in Seguin. A reception at her house to follow.
