Chair Capriglione admits extramarital affair but refutes allegation he paid for abortions and other claims made by former mistress

In Current Revolt interview, a former “exotic dancer” said Capriglione had paid for abortions, but no documentation was presented

Editor’s note: The interview published by Current Revolt is their work and theirs alone. In the decade that I’ve been responsible for day-to-day operations of Quorum Report, y’all are well aware that we’ve published some downright nasty personal allegations against officeholders and candidates but never based solely on the word of one person. There has always been supporting documentation. That does not seem to be the case here. That said, the chairman acknowledged part of what was said is true and he is leaving the Texas House. So, the Capitol community has interest in it beyond the salacious. But, naturally, y’all are talking about that stuff, too. So, here we go – SB

After days of speculation and under threat of a lawsuit, the publisher of the Current Revolt website released a nearly half-hour video interview in which a woman claimed to have had an extramarital affair with Texas House DOGE Committee Chairman Giovanni Capriglione.

The Chairman on Friday acknowledged the affair but pushed back against all the other allegations made by Alex Grace, who said Capriglione paid for "several" abortions and engaged in other behavior that could best be described as bizarre.
