Brisk voting so far in Houston and Dallas while Democrats appear ascendant now in Tarrant County and no long lines in most other parts of Texas

A total of 56,302 people voted in the Republican primary and 42,450 people voted in the Democratic primary on the first day of early voting ahead of the March 3 primary. Let’s go through the numbers from some of the significant parts of the state while we await further info from the Secretary of State’s Office.
